I had two interesting dreams about dead people, it’s so rare, maybe the last time was after my grandmother in Nepal passed away in 1996. I had a dream about Anthony Bourdain and my grandmother, and I received a reading from a new friend and colleague from the psychic faire at Starborn Healing and Wellness. I then noticed synchronicity with a new soup I had to make and realized that Anthony Bourdain in my dream made me and my friend a vegetable puree/soup that he used to serve over polenta. Oh yeah, it’s bizarre, and amazing at the same time because of what happened during my reading with Claire from the psychic faire. Plus, I share more messages from them from opening my Akashic Records and the Akashic Records of Anthony and my Grandma.
It's just another day in the life of an intuitive healer!
Topics discussed in this episode:
-my dreams and having dead people visit me
-Anthony Bourdain came to me in a dream
-My Hajur-Ma (Grandmother) came to me in a dream the next night
-I worked the Psychic Faire and did a trade with someone that is a channel and medium
-Claire told me that they did visit me in my dream
-Claire and I helped Anthony Bourdain
-I gave myself an Akashic Record reading about both dreams with Anthony Bourdain and my Grandmother who is also deceased
-I read the results of opening my Akashic Records about my Grandma and Bourdain
-I read the messages from the Akashic Records of my Grandma and Bourdain

I MISSED YOU! The podcast is back for SEASON 2!!!! I am starting out strong with a solocast about how inadvertently making The Confident Healer Podcast, help build my confidence as a healer in biznaaas, WAAAT? Yeah, check out the episode and I will tell you all the dirty-dirty about what it was like to live inside my head, filled with insecurities about not being good enough.
Can you relate?
For years, I tried to find a life preserver, and while they worked for a while nothing ever stuck in regards to feeling like I was worth it. I didn’t feel confident about myself in promoting my work and sometimes lacked confidence about my work as a healer, wondering if I was effective even though I my clients were experiencing breakthroughs. I would always just chalk it up to it being some kind of fluke and that I couldn’t get those results the next time.
How draining is that? It’s debilitating and I would put myself through so much mental and emotional anguish beating myself up for not being confident enough and not being good enough.
Topics discussed in this episode:
-lacking confidence in business
-low self-esteem and no sense of self-worth when it came to work
-Keslie’s KarmicSoul Reiki Level 1 class
-Usui giving me a gift during one of the attunements for level 1
-How exercising the muscle of regular publishing on social media and email marketing helped build confidence (to my delight)
-talking to other healers about how they built their confidence in business and “putting themselves out there”
-going over the 3 steps that helped me have sustainable confidence

Alexi on Confidence, Self-Trust and Getting Unstuck
Monday Apr 26, 2021
Monday Apr 26, 2021
Here is another fun and insightful interview with my friend and my business coach I used to work with Alexi Aldine.
I worked with her for 4 years to understand how to deal with my low self-worth when it came to business and putting myself out there to let people know about my work. It has been a journey (and still is!) and this is the main person that helped me love myself more and have more confidence and *have* self-worth.
She is funny, compassionate, and a wonderful coach. She will be your best cheerleader, and I am so grateful to have met her. I had all the marketing tools (website, flyers) but I didn't believe in myself, and if you don't have that, you don't get very far in what you want to achieve. This is what Alexi teaches in her Dare to Be You Academy, a mix of getting through your blocks by taking bold steps in your business!
We have a great conversation about Scientific Hand Analysis and how your level of confidence shows up in your hands. This is not to say all is lost, my friend, no, not all, it is just learning why and how you get stuck in certain areas of your life, and how to get unstuck.
She had to look up the definition of confidence because it's not how she would describe herself, she was just “being herself” and doing things she set out to do. It never occurred to her that she was being confident, as she puts it, "I'm just being me."
Somehow, we end up talking about my journey and struggles with being a healer in business, and we use my hands as a mini sample scientific hand analysis reading.
We also talk about what is in her hands and where she gets stuck, all through the lens of Scientific Hand Analysis which is a modality she uses in her work.
So, let’s listen to what it is like to live life without doubt about yourself, and learn more about Hand Analysis with the great Alexi Aldine!
Topics discussed in this episode:
-What has the past been like for Alexi during the pandemic
-Alexi talks about where she gets stuck and how she gets unstuck
--Alexi mentions Scientific Hand Analysis
--Her childhood as a Filipina immigrant
--Her family thought children should be seen and not heard
--She talks about her ambitions and didn't see that as being confident
--She explains where her confidence comes from, that she is just being herself
--Explains Scientific Hand Analysis
--gives a mini hand analysis of Sharmila's hand
--Sharmila and Alexi discuss some of where Sharmila can get stuck, which are written in her hands
--It's all about self-acceptance, warts and all as they say
--Alexi analyzes her own hand in-depth
--Alexi talks about her free masterclass in May

About the Guest: Alexi is a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), an Award-winning Speaker. She is certified in Theta Healing and Scientific Hand Analysis and has analyzed more than 2,200 hands. Alexi is the founder and creator of Dare2BU Academy where she supports intuitive empaths who want to live their Purpose and make a difference in the world to create their first online program. Alexi’s signature approach includes uncovering your Life Purpose blueprint which is found in your fingerprints and lines in your hands. She says, “within 30 seconds of looking at your hands I can tell you why you’re stuck and how to get you unstuck so you can share your gifts and get your business off the ground.” To find out how you can get your Life Purpose blueprint, go to www.askalexi.com

Empowering South Asian Womyn in the workforce
Tuesday Apr 13, 2021
Tuesday Apr 13, 2021
Hello!!
We are back this week with an actual convo with someone else! YAAY! In today's episode, I bring back my 2nd guest that I had on the show last year, Deepa Pulipati, to talk about empowering South Asian women and strengthening their leadership skills in the workforce.
Deepa brings up some interesting facts she discovered in her research about South Asian women in the US corporate world, things that reflect our South Asian upbringing in a patriarchal society. It's complicated, but she and I have a great talk about the corporate world and how we can be agents of change to create a more harmonious place at work where productivity, creativity, and self-compassion create a bottom line of job satisfaction, better leadership, and a better product.
Plus, she gives two very simple exercises to create more balance between the inner critic we all have and developing the inner champion we need more of. We had such a great conversation and we are so excited about the South Asian Womyn's Leadership program!
Topics discussed in this episode:
-People tend to lump South Asian and SE Asian womyn together, but there are some unique differences between the 2 groups-Deepa and Sharmila are working together in the South Asian Womyn's Leadership Series, a bespoke 5-week program to provide South Asian (here on out S.A.) womyn with tools for advancement, build confidence, and learn how to share their stories amongst other important tools just to name a show-How do South Asian womyn advance in the workplace-Deepa observed her South Asian womyn clients and South Asian womyn associates that worked in felt like they didn't had a clear path to "get ahead" and a lack of representation of South Asian womyn mentors, or South Asian womyn in a leadership role-Deepa personally knows many South Asian womyn that are successful in South Asia and in America-There are very few studies and articles about South Asian womyn in the workplace in the United States --why is this?-A study showed that womyn are not confrontational nor do they take risks at work-American corporate culture needs to change. We need to think differently and revamp the corporate structure-Solutions offered for clients in the SA Womyn's Leadership series, create community, i.e. "your ideal day" exercise, taking inventory throughout your day, focusing on all the tasks you did-What 3 things do you appreciate about yourself exercise

Intuition, Motivation and a lost cell phone by Sharmila Mali
Hello!
I am back with another solocast and this week's I talk about using your intuition as motivation. Sometimes, you ask for a little help from your intuitive friends, and luckily for me, they delivered! It's important to be able to listen to your intuition and take action on it, it can be a motivating factor of encouraging you to keep moving forward. And when you ask your friends to use their intuitive talents to help find a lost object, it's even more of a motivational boost when they tell you it's not lost. I could have easily brushed it off because I didn't lose my phone at home, the last place I used it was at my office. But I trusted the information.
Topics discussed in this episode:

importance of trusting the information you get from intuition
